Happy Hallowe’en!

Happy Hallowe’en everybody! Today I walked into class and laughed hysterically to find First Soloist Tanya Howard and Principal Dancer Heather Ogden in full costume. Tanya was dressed as our Ballet Mistress Mandy-Jayne Richardson and Heather was our Ballet Master Lindsay Fischer. It was a great way to start the day.

Last week was super busy with lots of rehearsals and costume fittings, mostly for The Merry Widow. I’ve never danced in this ballet before, so I’m still working on learning all the steps. To top it all off, I’ve got a cold that I cannot seem to shake, so I’m constantly popping Cold FX and Echinacea pills to try and get better.

Next year I promise to come up with a fun hallowe’en costume and wear it to work.
